Currency museum of Bangladesh bank is being rendered into money museum on the occasion of 92th birthday of Bangobandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman on 17th March 2012.
This project is taken regarding the enlargement of the currency museum into money museum.In the apartment of Bangladesh Bank training academy at Mirpur this museum will be launchedwidely.
A committee, comprising noted cartoonist Hashem Khan, historian and columnist Professor Muntasir Mamun, architect Rabiul Hossain, Bangladesh Bank executive director Dasgupta Asim Kumar, has been formed to implement the project.
About 2500 coins and notes found in Wari-Bateshwar of Narsingdi will be reserved in the Money Museum, sources said.
